HYPNOTIC IS FOR THE CHILDREN
Remember field trips?
Yesterday HYPNOTIC had an early morning show uptown, playing for a full house of young people at HarlemStage's Aaron Davis Hall. It was waaay before noon, but when the band came on and blasted out "Brass In Africa" all the kids in the crowd really sent it up, it was kinda crazy.
Other highlights: the Q&A session that followed ("How'd you get those instruments in here?" "What's it like playing in a band with your brothers?"), the age-guessing game, 360 giving his drumsticks away to a screaming high school girl and the "Sankofa"/"Che Che Colé" dance competition, in which a little girl in a yellow parka broke out into the Soulja Boy "Crank That" Supaman dance...slipped up and didn't get any footage of that, lemme see if someone else has it...
